ST:One Heart Two Different Worlds Ch1Chapter 1: The Outsider

K'rel was seated watching from the bar with a few others primarily minding her own business. She was a loaner of sorts and not the type to just start or really even hold a conversation. She was a woman of few words and even less patience, with a light milky brown complexion, a not so overly asserted crest on her forehead and wavy brown hair that was currently only shoulder length... which was in a short pony tail, with the eyes the color of hazel... However, in front of her and in the middle of the room was Jerrid who stood before Malok and the other's of a different squad.

Soul Eater- To Catch A Falling Star... (Maka x Soul)

“From the Heavens came a falling star...
so beautiful, perfect and true.
Shinning in it's bright brilliance,
that I will risk everything to catch it
or die trying to save it,
even being burned to ashes...”

[Soul saw the person who he cared for and loved most in the world and would not let her fall alone. He desperately reached out to her, trying to grab hold. It was a futile attempt, but he had to try... He could not fly, they would indeed both hit the ground. But he was willing to sacrifice himself in order to save her. There were no guarantees, there never were in life. But he had made a promise to himself; no matter how she felt about him or the arguments that would ensue or worse yet... the Silence... he would always love her and put her first.

As he maneuvered behind her, he tried to center himself underneath her the best he could and wrapped his arms around her and grip her tight to cushion her fall. His life flashed before his eyes and there were so many things he wanted to tell her in those very brief short fleeting moments. How much he cared for her and his feelings for her, most of all he wanted to tell her he loved her... but he didn't have the time. It was a luxury he did not have.

He pushed everything out of his mind and focused on the brazenly fast upcoming ground and tried to adjust himself and her. Would he succeed in saving Maka and thus lose his own life surely. Or would his plan foolishly fail and they both perished anyway? It did not matter if he lost his own life he knew, for he had sworn to her no matter what, when she fell, he would fall and they would both fall together....]

I had started doing a picture of when he scoots, while in mid air mind you, behind her right before this one. But it was not coming out as good as I had hoped, plus I thought I could skip that one since it was practically only a frame or two literally from the last one.

So I started doing this one and I do indeed like it. I feel a little awkward with not being able to she her other leg, but there was no reference for it and I did not want to add it and fear it would look awful or awkward.

Only a couple more for this sequence and I will be doing something else. Not sure what yet exactly, but I do have a few ideas. I wish I could draw freehand (Or at least be good at it.

) and I would start some mangas and OCs etc. I have some ideas and inspirations... Anyway, enjoy!

Edit: Fixed her leg, I hope it is proportionate from this angle.

Per my reference pic yes.

As some one mentioned, that leg in the back ground looks like it has pants. That is how it looked in the pic, but I think I could fix it with a simple little bit of erasing to make it look "flapping" opposed to "wrapping". One of these days, one of these days... Better than the first time though... she had no second leg.

Haha don't you just hate when you forget to draw something in the picture and towards the end your realize and you can't do anything about it.

But the original ref pic I used did not have a second leg either.

It was a close up pic. The other one I had was a bit further out and I almost always draw more than what is on the pic for some reason. I guess it just makes cropping easier...

So I just made the second leg, but I think the shading is off, but that is how I remember it in the pic.

well thats okay. one day you'll move up to actually creating your own poses and having difficulty with that. I used to copy the pictures on my pokemon cards.

I hope to become a graphic designer. I'm starting with Nuzlockes, which is where you playthrough pokemon games with specific rules and create a comic or story of it. I have a majority of it planned I just need to do my character designs.
