Serenity Bebop

Cowboy Bebop (One of my favorite series of all time by the way...) with the Serenity movie trailer. It is very nicely done! Quite eerie how close they make it seem legit. :D

Meant to Live (For so much more...)- Switchfoot.

It features anime from Soul Eater, Wolfs Rain, among many others. This song actually gave me the inspiration to write my LoZ fan fic, Skyward Sword. However since I have never played the game, nor researched it besides minor details, my story is completely different than the game, which most of my stories are anyway for the better or for the worse... ^^;

Page Under Construction

Welcome to my page! :happybounce:

It is currently under construction so please be patient and have a seat. Please have a coffee, tea, soda or malt and the cookies and bicuits are on the house! I am using the tutorials by :icongasara: to do it. Here Pretty Up Your Profile 2.0 (Beginner) by Gasara and here Pretty Up Your Profile by Gasara. Also check this out for any trouble shooting. Custom Box - Troubleshooting + FAQCustom Boxes
Quite a few people still seem to have issues with getting their custom box backgrounds to work correctly so I thought I'd put this little troubleshooting guide and FAQ together to help. If you follow the instructions closely, you shouldn't have any problems.
If you encounter any issues that aren't explained here, please let me know. I will update this guide with any extra info or solutions as they are requested.
You can read more about customising your profile page here.
The Basics
<div class="popup2-moremenu"><div class="floaty-boat"><img src="http://website.com/image.png"></div></div><div class="gr-box gr-genericbox">sample text</div>
Copy the code above and paste into a Custom box on your profile page. Replace the green text with your background
Don't be afraid to try this yourself. Just be aware that some of these features can only be used if you have a Premium Membership. But don't feel bad if you don't have one. They are relatively cheap and people/groups are awalys giving them away in raffles, contests or just because. And as I said, you don't need a PM for all of it, so those with out can still do a lot with what they have. Now if you'll excuse me, the waiter will be with you shortly. Thanks for visiting! You are always welcome here. Oh and how does the wall paper look?

I am happy to say I raised just shy of $1000 (Not to include the other hour from another day would make it over $1000.) in less than nine hours straight. Not too bad for my first real try by myself. That is like $100 an hour and more than I make at work. :O_o: I received several twenties, quite a few tens, many fives and of course the majority were one dollar bills.  All I did was wear a vest, hold a box with a poster on it and bow to each person or group of people that came in and out of a store to greet them.

I was quite surprised by the amount of generosity. Granted it was the weekend and it was in a place with a lot of traffic going in and out (Pho Village I lovingly call it...), but a lot of people unselfishly gave. I was quite surprised when one woman gave me five twenties... and others who would give a twenty, a ten and then the last of their singles... I had a few say Buddhist prayers (I am with a Buddhist organization, even though I myself am not Buddhist.) before handing in the money.

And some of the adults gave their children the money to put into the box. I would bow or kneel down low in order for them to reach it. I wonder if it was so they (The children.) would be getting a blessing or for them to learn to bestow blessings to others... And it makes me wonder when I have children, how I would raise them and how I could incorporate compassion and relief into their being... But as I was counting the money I realized I did not really do anything. Not a single penny of mine was in that particular lot. As I said all I did was bow and greet. It was everyone else that did something note worthy. I was just the collector of their generosity. I want to do more, but I have to wait for a meeting, the head person is out of the country at the moment and we need permission from the stores.

In saying all that from April 25th to May 31st, all donations to Tzu Chi will go straight to the earthquake victims of Nepal. Thousands have died, many more are injured and even more displaced. The Nepal people are running dangerously low on food, clean drinking water, medicine, etc. Tzu Chi has already sent doctors to treat the wounded and the sick, with volunteers to help feed and ascertain the situation, with many more ready to go at a moments notice. You can go to the link below and pay online, over the phone, mail in a check or stop by one of the many offices in the US and abroad. From California to New York and just about every state in between (Oh look... two offices in Wisconsin...) there are locations.

On a side note... I am still eating vegetarians... :cough: I mean eating “like” a vegetarian... :shifty: I am starting to like the taste of tofu, which is funny since tofu naturally has no taste... as in... nothing... :O_o: So maybe I am just liking how everyone else makes it. (For the love of God stop making cakes with tofu!!! :wtf: You know who you are! :shakefist:)

Speaking of eating dessert... Tardessertwhore  I am currently in the process of making Italian Ice from scratch. Just boiled some water and sugar and allowing it to sit in the freezer. Every now and again, about once an hour, I will stir it until it thickens and freezes completely and then pour the lemon juice or vanilla over it and eat it. Sadly I have no real lemons, limes or beans, (Yes vanilla extract comes from beans, not magically from fairies... Free - Navi Fairy from Legend of Zelda  Well come to think of it I don't know maybe they do, those are extremely small bottles after all...  Bottle- Blue Fairy ) so that will have to come from a bottle. I am not expecting extraordinary things, but I am expecting it to be good.

Ok so off to the new music and videos section. First off something I had seen quite a while ago, but never posted and thought I would now just because... It is the anime Cowboy Bebop cowboy bebop gif (One of my favorite series of all time by the way... Edward (Explosion) [V1] ) with the Serenity movie trailer. It is very nicely done! Quite eerie how close they make it seem legit. :D

Anyway, that is about all I can think of right now. Just be kind to others. Please help Nepal and all those who are suffering all around the world. The sad thing is, you do not have to go very far to find suffering. What is even sadder is that it seems to take more effort to imagine there isn't any and ignore the problem altogether, than to actually get up and do something to help alleviate it. Kind of like the thing about it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile, so why do so many do it including myself... (Actually I just keep a straight face, saves time and energy...straightFace ) Take care.

Oh and just in case I do not post another journal entry by then, Happy Mother's Day Mother's Day for all you mothers out there or soon to be. Although we should not need a day like this, everyday should feel like that towards them. You should love your mothers, as well as your fathers. Because once they are gone they are gone and no amount of wishing will bring them back, nor redo a hurtful word or action.
